"You Have Nothing if You Don't Have Jesus!"

Scripture: Luke 12: 16-21 ...
This parable teaches that apart from knowing God and having Jesus in our lives, nothing else is of value.
Luke 12:21... "So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God."

Message:
Beware of the big sin: Greed or covetousness -- Life is not grounded in material things.
"I" is noted several times in the parable, highlighting the ills of self-indulgence and extravagance.
Material wealth is not permanent -- at death someone else get it!
One should identify, embrace and share their true God-given gifts during his lifetime.

"A Code of Obedience ~ Pass it on..."

Scripture: Deuteronomy 4:9.... 
"Only take heed to thyself, and keep thy soul diligently, lest thou forget the things which thine eyes have seen, and lest they depart from thy heart all the days of thy life: but teach them thy sons, and thy sons' sons..."

 Message:
       One must have a willingness to obey God's Word.        
        One must respect authority.
